Appalachian Ski Mountain
 Appalachian Ski Mountain is known for its innovative terrain park features and snowmaking capacity. Appalachian is arguably the locals’ favorite ski resort because of its hip staff, relative absence of lift lines and impeccably groomed slopes. Visit Appal Jam and Appaljack Terrain Parks with a variety of rails, boxes, bonks and jumps to keep even the most experienced skier and snowboarder happy.

Ski Beech
Ski Beech is located in the town of Beech Mountain NC, eastern America’s highest town. At 5,506 feet, Ski Beech has 15 slopes, 27,500 snow making lines and 10 lifts. Take the family and enjoy the quaint Bavarian village of Beech Mountain and a day of skiing on Ski Beech’s 100 skiable acres. Skiers and snowboarders alike will enjoy the Red Baron Terrain Park and Meadows Terrain Park. Ski Beech also offers night skiing on 100% of the terrain, an outdoor ice skating rink and has the capacity to facilitate 9,300 skiers per hour.
Sugar Mountain
Sugar Mountain is located less than ten miles from Ski Beech and is the perfect destination for every member of your group. Sugar Mountain is the largest of the NC Ski Resorts offering 115 skiable acres. Featuring a Magic Carpet tubing area, snowboarding terrain park, 20 slopes, 10 lifts, 10,000 square foot refrigerated outdoor ice skating rink and snowshoeing trails, Sugar Mountain satisfies every whim, age and ski level. Sugar Mountain also boasts North Carolina’s longest run at 1 ½ miles and highest vertical drop at 1,200 feet.
